Hi, my name is Gabriela Matusova, and I am from Bratislava, Slovakia. I’ve had a passion for making custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies for more than three decades. I graduated from SOU Spolocneho Stravovania Pastry School at the age of 17. In 1984, I began my career as a Pastry Chef at Carlton Hotel in Bratislava. I came to the US in 2000 and started my own bakery in Homestead, Florida. Then in 2015, I relocated to Aspen, Colorado and worked for Casa Tua restaurant as a Pastry Chef. Now, I have a home bakery located in Basalt, Colorado.
